Our Story:
Blip Art School was established in 2018 by two friends, Ella James and Astrid Myers, who began their journey at a market stall in Plant 4 Bowden. Since those early days, Blip Art School has evolved into a thriving after-school arts program and a beloved family favorite, located in a well-equipped home studio in West Croydon. now solely managed by Ella James.
With over a decade of experience in guiding children through their artistic endeavors, Ella has created an environment that encourages creativity and exploration. Blip Art School offers a range of services, including birthday parties, special events, and term classes.
our classes:
Blip Art School offers a vibrant environment where children can delve into their creativity, explore new mediums, and cultivate essential problem-solving skills. Our curriculum encourages students to unleash their imagination and create unique works of art.
We harness the power of art to inspire young minds to embrace curiosity and take pride in their originality. Problem-solving is a vital skill that transcends the realm of art, influencing every aspect of life—from academic challenges to personal relationships. By encouraging critical and creative thinking, we equip students with the tools to navigate obstacles and innovate in various situations.
Each term, our workshops are thoughtfully designed to cover a diverse array of artistic practices, allowing students to experiment and discover the styles that resonate with them. Past workshops have included acrylics, watercolour, sculpture, small object making, oil pastels, clay, photography, weaving, embroidery, printmaking, screen printing, and more.
We believe this multifaceted approach not only enhances artistic skills but also fosters confidence and a deeper appreciation for the creative process.
All staff have their Working With Children Checks.
