Our Story:

Blip Art School was established in 2018 by two friends, Ella James and Astrid Myers, who began their journey at a market stall in Plant 4 Bowden. Since those early days, Blip Art School has evolved into a thriving after-school arts program and a beloved family favorite, located in a well-equipped home studio in West Croydon. now solely managed by Ella James.

With over a decade of experience in guiding children through their artistic endeavors, Ella has created an environment that encourages creativity and exploration. Blip Art School offers a range of services, including birthday parties, special events, and term classes.

Blip Art School is a fun and welcoming space where kids can explore their creativity, try out new mediums, and build important problem-solving skills. Our workshops are all about letting children use their imagination to create unique works of art they can truly be proud of.

At Blip, we believe art is a powerful way to spark curiosity and help kids feel confident in their originality. Problem-solving is a life skill that goes far beyond the art studio—it’s something they’ll use in school, relationships, and everything in between. By encouraging both critical and creative thinking, we give kids the tools to tackle challenges and come up with fresh ideas.

Each term, our workshops are carefully planned to introduce a wide range of art styles and techniques. From painting with acrylics and watercolours to sculpting, working with clay, embroidery, printmaking, and even photography—there’s always something new to try!

We’re passionate about helping kids discover what they love while building confidence and a deeper connection to the creative process.

All staff have their Working With Children Checks.
